30th Annual Whipple City Festival 2022

Gather, 103 Main, Main St., Greenwich, NY

Join Tom at Gather 103 Main on Saturday afternoon June 18th at the 30th Annual Whipple City Festival, presented by the Greater Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. The Whipple City Festival is an annual event that takes place in the Village of Greenwich, New York. What began as a thank you to the community for their support of our local businesses has become a popular event for the entire southern Washington County area. Invite your friends and family to enjoy a weekend of fun with musical entertainment, craft vendors, delicious foods, games, a parade and even a 5K race. The Whipple City Festival is a wonderful way to kick off summer! Festival activities will be centered about the gazebo on Friday and along the historic district of Main Street on Saturday, which will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, June 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Businesses and restaurants will offer special promotions, there will be carnival games for children, and musical offerings from a Main Street stage will culminate in a Saturday evening performance by favorite local Americana band, Eastbound Jesus. The festival honors Job Whipple (1749-1822), owner of the earliest mills along the Batten Kill and considered to be the founder of Greenwich.
